Dear Patients and Families:

I am writing to share news that a patient and a staff member have tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member will remain at home until the CDC’s return to work criteria have been met. We are in the process of creating a “hot unit” where the positive patient will be located.

Outbreak testing will be conducted for patients located on the rehab unit every 3-7 days until the Center is 14 days without a positive test result. Staff are tested twice weekly in accordance with the community transmission level as reported by the CDC.

Visitation will be temporarily suspended for any patient who is positive for COVID-19, with the exception of compassionate care visits.
