I hope your week is going well.

On April 27, 2021, the CDC released updated healthcare infection prevention recommendations in response to COVID-19 vaccination. Fully vaccinated patients and visitors are now able to visit in the Center without the requirement to wear face masks during the visit. While core infection control principles remain in place, including wearing a face mask when traveling to and from the visitation area inside the Center, we are moving closer to returning to normal operations. Please keep us fully informed of your vaccination status before or upon screening so we can remain as safe as possible.

We have a busy week ahead. Nurses Week is May 6-12, and we have celebrations scheduled during the week in recognition of the care and compassion shown by our nursing staff. This week will conclude in celebration of Mother’s Day with a red rose for our moms, and employee moms, handmade corsages, and an afternoon Cheesecake social. Our special meal for the day is a grilled rib eye steak served with a twice baked potato, green beans and assorted rolls. The dessert will be a Lemon Pound cake with Strawberry topping!

County Positivity Rate:  Decreased to 8.1%.
Testing Frequency for Staff and Patients: Staff are tested weekly based on county positivity rate. Patients are tested as needed based on symptoms or exposure.
PPE: The supply remains adequate. Staff receive ongoing education on appropriate PPE utilization.
Visitation: Scheduled virtual, indoor and outdoor visitation are currently available. To schedule a visit, click this link:  https://carriagehill-rehab.com/patient-visitations/.
